CROSSMARK operates to promote great new products in-store and really push home their benefits to customers. The team of contractors give presentations in major retail chains such as Coles and Bunnings, introducing products to potential customers. As such, the team encompasses a huge field workforce who are required to set up their product promotion stands in a multitude of different locations with varying degrees of complexity. With anywhere from 1,500 staff travelling across the country in a day, the company believed there was a better way to organise and track the numerous in-store presentations conducted. To do this, they brought in Appscore.
Simplifying the way jobs are recorded and monitored
With staff frequently on the road, CROSSMARK wanted to find an easier method for delegating jobs and liaising with employees on the details of each project. Previously, they relied on clunky web-based solutions which could only be accessed by desktops or laptops. As such, handling large volumes of data had become a complex and intricate process, while communication with employees was significantly lacking efficiency. This was frustrating for all staff involved, created problems with keeping track of what was going on, and produced errors in the reporting system.
Creating a multi-functional, autonomous system for employees
The CROSSMARK team presented their business problems to Appscore, and from there we were able to come up with a digital solution focusing on organising all data upon the one platform. Available on iOS and Android phones, CROSSMARK staff can simply download the work enforcement app onto their handheld devices and tap away. The result? They have all the necessary information for each job literally at their fingertips, therefore greatly enhancing the company’s in-house operations while keeping employees satisfied and allowing them to get on with their jobs as quickly as possible.
